  • Rick authorized to consult with Michael King and advise the
    president, that the president is authorized to continue the English country dance, reduce
    it to once a month, or cancel it
  • Minutes of April 2005 and October 2005 approved
  • Treasury report: balance $4,613.88
  • All current directors relected for 2006
  • Approved additin to bylaws: Section 4-(d) Directors may attend meetings remotely with full rights of participation, including
    voting, provided that each director has been able to participate fully in the entire
    discussion of the issue being voted upon.
  • Dancer survey shall be conducted regarding moving the third Sunday dance time from 7:00-10:00 to 6:30-9:30

  • Treasury report: balance is 4,493.22 - approved
  • Authorized Rick to get insurance quote and activate if deemed appropriate
  • Edgar Ross resigned as board member - resignation approved
  • Approved Paul Franklin as board member
  • Susan will distribute via e-mail a summary report from recent dancer survey
  • Approved $50 for room rental for pre-dance potluck in October, provided sufficient and appropriate insurance is obtained
  • Sound equipment to be stored at Andy's new place in Pescadero
  • Authorized Andy to loan and try to sell old mixer
  • Agreed that talent for each quarter shall be scheduled by mid-month prior to end of quarter
  • Approved $200 for mediation services

  • Approved May 17 minutes - minutes from previous meeting lost
  • Treasury report: balance 4,022.17, down $900 from 12 months ago
  • Approved Andrea and Andy to dispose of old mixer
  • Approved up to $1000 to purchase new mixer
  • Rick will program SC dance beginning January
  • Karen will manage Felton dance in January
  • Approved increasing admission fee to $10 general, $6 student for March SC dance and October SC and Felton dances
  • Approved authorizing Andy to distribute two-for-one coupons to dancers a special UCSC dance he is working
